This time, MAJORS takes purpose at a most unforgivable villain: the disrespectful golf associate.
“‘Etiquette’ is about getting matched up on the golf course with a horrible particular person,” says vocalist Justin Camarena. “Anybody who’s performed repeatedly is aware of there are some folks with no respect for the sport or for others, and the concept for the tune got here from a kind of situations. In golf, you’ve numerous time to assume, and your thoughts can wander to blissful or darkish locations. This tune goes to a darkish place. After I’m writing I like taking a small thought and exaggerating it to squeeze out all the sentiments I had once I was in that second. I’ve golfed with lots of people who’ve irritated me, however this tune magnifies that tenfold, and the video has us murdering a man.”

Filmed over two days on the Irish Hills Golf and Nation Membership in Ottawa, the video follows a boorish character who defies each rule of golf decorum – arriving late, performing out on the course, and shamelessly ignoring the sport’s dignity. Because the tune builds in urgency, so does the narrative, culminating in a satisfyingly rebellious climax that solely MAJORS might ship.
Shot with precision and punch by Schnobb, and supported by No Palms Movies, the video marries uncooked efficiency footage with a tongue-in-cheek storyline that pays homage to each punk rock angst and golf traditionalism. It’s a pairing nobody anticipated – however one which works with shocking concord.
MAJORS’ music is a high-energy mix of recent rock rooted in basic 2000s punk with lyrics that includes wide-ranging golf themed storytelling. Fashioned in 2023 by former members of The Totally Down – Justin Camarena (vocals) and Wealthy Latour (drums) – the band shortly expanded to incorporate guitarist Jason Mooney (We Had been Sharks), Nathan Pearce (guitar), and Jeff Britten (bass), all seasoned musicians with touring pedigrees.
Their 2024 debut EP established their distinct id, and their newest single ‘Etiquette’ builds on that momentum with hard-hitting riffs and a sharply humorous narrative. With extra singles able to roll and a full-length album on the way in which in 2026, MAJORS continues to show that punk rock has room for fairways and fury alike.
