11 stabbed in random assault

Eleven individuals have been stabbed over the weekend at a Walmart in Michigan, in what authorities are calling a random and unprovoked assault.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Workplace stated a 42-year-old man entered the shop round 4:45 PM and used a folding knife to stab 11 individuals earlier than being taken into custody. A sheriff’s deputy arrived inside minutes, with assist from bystanders in subduing the suspect and aiding the victims.

Munson Healthcare confirmed all 11 victims have been being handled at its regional hospital. Six have been listed in essential situation, and 5 have been in critical situation. The Sheriff stated the suspect is believed to be a Michigan resident. The weapon used seemed to be a folding knife.
The FBI is helping within the investigation. Walmart stated in an announcement, “Violence like that is unacceptable. Our ideas are with those that have been injured, and we’re grateful for the swift motion of legislation enforcement and emergency personnel.”
The investigation is ongoing.
