David Bowie’s daughter isn’t feeling beneath strain in terms of her personal musical profession.
Alexandria “Lexi” Zahra Jones, whom the late rocker shared with spouse Iman, launched her debut album Xandri, April 2. And within the run-up to showcasing her music with the world on the 12-song album, the 24-year-old gave heartfelt nods to her dad Bowie (actual identify David Robert Jones) who died after battling most cancers in 2016 at age 69.
On March 14, Lexi shared on her Instagram a childhood picture exhibiting her father carrying her, set to her cowl of his 1971 hit “Life on Mars?,” captioning the publish, “Papa.”
Over the next weeks, Lexi shared extra glimpses at her upbringing, posting movies of herself cuddling a canine inside a pen and enjoying within the snow, the latter of which is about to her album monitor “By way of All of the Time.”
Lexi’s inventive abilities do not finish with music. Like her dad, she can be a painter. Along with music and pictures from her childhood, Bowie and Iman’s daughter has additionally showcased her art work on social media over time.
